Artist's Description
I created this image at sunset on the autumnal equinox, the last day of summer.
It was blisteringly hot, in the area of 100 degree Fahrenheit.
It was one of the San Francisco bay Areas rare Indian Summer days. Becaus eof the off-shore flow of the air mass the coastal fog had been pushed far out to sea. This allowed me to capture this striking iamge from the Russian Ridge Open Space Preseve.

Dean Birinyi is a residential and commercial interiors and architecture photographer based in San Francisco, CA. I began my career as a photographer in April of 1986. My first job as a photographer was photographing baby portraits in K-Mart Department Stores. I loved the work but not the job.
