I created this image while setting up a self portrait for use on my website and social media pages.
I had discovered the scene several years before and was intrigued by the strong geometry and forms of the columns. Capturing the scene at just the right moment at twilgiht allowed me to showcase the illuminated light fixtures in a lively manner.
Dean Birinyi is a residential and commercial interiors and architecture photographer based in San Francisco, CA. I began my career as a photographer in April of 1986. My first job as a photographer was photographing baby portraits in K-Mart Department Stores. I loved the work but not the job. My profession is photographing interiors and architecture is my specialty. However, photography is both my vocation and my avocation. So, I always carry a camera with me because I love creating stunning images of the world around me.
