I created this image one rainy Saturday as DW and I toured the Hyat Regency Hotel in San Francisco, CA.
I felt the form of the elevators and the dramatic juxtaposition of the string vertical and horizontal lines made this a powerful and visually dynamic image.
The subdued light from the overcast sky allowed me to capture the illuminating effect of the capsules lights perfectly balanced with the skylight from above.
