I created after the storm while on a tour of the Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve in San Mateo County.
We had climbed the hill during the rain and just as we approached the crest the storm broke. I turned and saw this stunning view and quickly captured it.

Dean Birinyi is a residential and commercial interiors and architecture photographer based in San Francisco, CA. I began my career as a photographer in April of 1986. My first job as a photographer was photographing baby portraits in K-Mart Department Stores. I loved the work but not the job.
